Wedding Favours

We initially thought we should leave it to our moms to decide on the wedding favours. they did source out for items and all.. But then after suggestions and sourcing our for stuff, we have decided on one after boy and me went to Alibaba.com. hahaha! yes! online!

We start to look for quotations in April and already confirm with the artwork in May and item was done with production in June! Yes, it was fast and furious. But here's some heads up if you are ordering stuff online via Alibaba.com:

1) Ensure that you read up on their company background
2) Check on their ratings
3) Clientele list
4) Price
5) Shipping - we ended up using our local forwarder to transport the item from China to SG
6) Reviews (not just based on alibaba website, but google for them too)

Our orders went smoothly. We have no problem with the supplier except for the transporting of the items to SG. due to some GST matter and especially when our total cost exceeded a certain amount and that requires some import license for custom clearance.

Must know your thing with this Alibaba purchase okay. But it is highly recommended coz its damn cheap! And our supplier happened to be nice and their product is tip top of super good quality.

Ohhh so yeah, our wedding favour/door gift/berkat is actually a tote bag with a quote saying, "Love makes the world go round".

Hehehe.. just cause i love traveling. haha! nolah.. coz it will relate to the theme of the wedding guest signing area; travel. we made many special memories here in SG. but everything else started when i was in Amsterdam.. and ding dong ding dong.. he proposed me at Paris. exclusive special memories made when we are both traveling. so it kinda mean a lot for us.

What's my take on wedding favours?

i remember telling my dad many years ago that i find the ol' skool snacks were awesome. do you remember the cake topped with cherry? or maybe hard boiled egg in a kotak. so cool right! hahaha! but well.. hahaha.. as simple as that. but as years goes by, i realised the need of giving a realistic/beneficial item for guest so that they will use and not throwing it away or keeping it in the store collecting dust.

I hope our guest will love the tote bag!

Countdown: 20 weeks to go!
