Love struck

I could still remember vividly when my mom told me he met Boboy at Xishan Primary. She was fetching Ina and saw Boy fetching Qarish (Wahed's niece. Wahed is my #sevensamsengs).

Oh yes. A little bit of introduction and sidetrack here.. Boy's mom and my mom were best of friends ever since our sisters were schooling in Xishan Primary and that should be in early 90s. So Boy's sister, Kak Sopi and my sister were bestfriends too during their primary school days. Boy and me were the kepo ones; following our moms and sisters to everywhere they go. Cik Gee (Boy's mom) taught me how to read well when i was like 4 years old? Yep, 2nd child syndrome. Everything must know and learn in advance. hahaha!

So yes, let's continue..

When my mom told me he met Boboy i think in 2011 or 2012 who is all grown up and handsome looking, I was attached at that point of time. I also went saying, "Aiyah he also younger than me lah ma.." I couldn't be bothered at all. HAHA! Now, i have nothing to comment about that. Apparently, after we first met after 2 decades on 22 January 2015, he told me he did try to make conversation with me when he was 17 via MSN with me but i totally ignored him. FRIENDZONED eh? hahaha! Kin was busy lah. It was the time of my life seh when i was 18. Work, school, friends and many more... hahaha!

It was funny when it first started. I was at Amsterdam when i got his Facebook message. I was shocked. It was kinda unexpected to receive a text from someone like him. I mean, come on.. out of the blue. We didn't contact each other ever since i left Yishun in 1996! I was doubtful at first thinking it was Wahed's idea of matchmaking me with his cousin. I shared this with Nadiah coz we bunk in the same room over at AMS and then shared with Atikah when i met her in London. I was very curious why this Boy suddenly came looking for me. But oh well, no harm though. I know his family very well. Cik Gee is really strict and disciplined. So, i thought, why not. Let's just reply. But probably reply few hours later (when i can actually reply on the spot)... hahahaha!

I agreed to meet him after I'm back in Singapore. i was having a whole lot of fun time during my Euro trip due to a very bad start in the earlier months of 2014. I decided to close my 2014 book with positive thoughts and therefore wohoo Euro trip in December/January. It was indeed the best time of my life.

So yes, back home in Singapore. I sent him a text message with our old photo taken when were both 4 and 5 on the night i arrived SG. wanted to tell my mom about this but refuse to coz i will just let her screamed with many high hopes and well i haven met Boy. So i don't know whether or not i can click with him. Anyway, it was just a catching up session. Nothing more.. lol!

We resorted to 22 Jan coz i was busy with Open House preparation at work plus the overloaded pile of work after taking 2 weeks off to Europe. I was nervous on that day. Like super nervous till my colleagues said my cheeks were freaking tomato red. Blushing or what. hahaha! Boy came to my office without knowing it was my office. All my colleagues was there except for Joanne to witness our first sight after 2 decades. hahahaha!

I'm naturally fine when it comes to socialising. I have always tried to make sure that there won't be any awkward pauses or *cricket-cricket* moment when i am around people. So we shared about most things from the time we both lost contact with each other till current. Went to I Am Cafe for dinner and then to Sentosa. Somebody wanted to ask me out for Luge but i was in my office attire. HAHAHA! so i brought him to Coffee Bean at Beach Station to further catch up about ourselves.

We then start texting each other. Not so often at first coz he was busy with his final semester. Me forever with work. Boy took the advantage of fetching me from school as I was having night class. We had so called "pick-up" dates. and then pop! i started to have feelings for him. He treated me soooo well. Actually, i can't tell when i started to develop that love feelings for him. When we had our "first date", i've already find him attractive and I was telling myself, "omg this guy got potential'. hahahaha! but no high hopes lah coz i was afraid of being friendzoned.

Boy took his chance by playing a psychology game when we went hiking at Henderson Wave. hahaha! we went out and text each other more often.. and then... it happened. hais.. he is such a sweetheart...

I send him a text message one morning with I Love You and then woala! hahaha!
